金梅枣为河南省南阳大枣研究所培育的特晚熟鲜食精品,先后三次荣获国家科技金奖。金梅枣果实特大,近圆形,成熟期为金红色,形似李梅。平均单果重30g 左右,最大单果重60g,色泽光洁美丽,皮薄肉脆,细嫩多汁,甜似蜂蜜,枣香气浓烈,品质极优。可食率65.4%,含糖量32.2%;维生素 C 的含量352mg/100g。其他营养成分含量为:蛋白质1.65%,人体所需氨基酸23种,金梅枣含有天门冬,苏氨酸等19种。金梅枣药用价值也特别高,每百克果肉中富含环磷酸腺苷50mg 左右,这种物质对人体癌细胞具有极强的破坏和抑制作用。同时对高血压、心肌梗塞、肾病、胃病等均有较好的疗效。因此,栽培金梅枣对人体的保健有着十分重要的意义。
