数学语言是数学符号从文字中分离出来的结果,是一种人工语言,它能够简洁而精确地表达和交流信息,是思维的载体。同时,只有通过语言才能更精确地呈现一个人的思维过程。数学语言表达和理解能力与解决真实问题的能力息息相关,小学阶段是数学的奠基阶段,教师应采取一定的措施培养、训练学生的语言表达和理解能力,可以说,数学就是一门语言,数学教育在一定程度上就是数学语言的教学。
