However, this prophecy has not become a reality. After 17 years of hard work, researchers from Xinjiang Autonomous Region successfully controlled the potato beetle in Xinjiang. In addition, they also conducted researches on prevention and treatment of potato beetle with 14 research institutes such as Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and China Agricultural University,
