1979年5月22日巴东5.1 级地震离三峡坝区不远,长江流域规划办公室和地震研究所曾在这地区做了不少形变测量工作。自1954年后,水准线路曾多次通过距震中20余公里的大峡口、香溪和秭归一带。沿香溪河一线正处于黄陵背斜与秭归盆地的交接部位,一般来说,是对于地壳变动的敏感地带。经鉴定,复测的6期水准成果均在相应的Ⅰ、Ⅱ等精度范围内。离震中40公里的周坪地震台设有短水准和短基线等形变观测手段,均以一等精度施测,所得
On May 22, 1979, the Badong M 5.1 earthquake was not far from the Three Gorges Dam. The Yangtze River Basin Planning Office and Earthquake Research Institute have done a great deal of deformation measurement in this area. Since 1954, the standard route has repeatedly passed the Daxiakou, Xiangxi and Zigui areas more than 20 kilometers away from the epicenter. Along the Xiangxi River line is located in the junction of the Huangling anticline and Zigui basin, in general, is sensitive to crustal changes. The results of the 6 stages of retesting are all within the corresponding accuracy of Ⅰ, Ⅱ and so on. Zhouping Seismic Station 40km away from the epicenter has short-term and short-baseline deformation observation methods and is measured with first-class precision.
