银桦(Grevilled robusta A Cunn)系山龙眼科的常绿大乔木,树高可达40米,胸径达1米,原产澳大利亚。解放前,我国仅有少量引种,解放后在我国热带、亚热带地区云南、福建、江西等省相继推广发展。我所于1964年从厦门引入试种,经多年观察在浙南气候条件下,生长适应性较强,除秋播小苗露地越冬略有寒害外,幼树和成林后几度霜雪不受冻害,抗寒力最低温能耐-5.3℃。
Grevilled robusta A Cunn is a evergreen arboreous tree with a tree height of up to 40 meters and a breast diameter of 1 meter, native to Australia. Before the liberation, only a small amount of introduction of our country, after the liberation in China’s tropical and subtropical regions of Yunnan, Fujian, Jiangxi and other provinces have to promote the development. I was introduced from Xiamen in 1964 trial planting, after many years of observation in southern Zhejiang climate conditions, strong adaptability to growth, except for autumn planting seedlings exposed to winter a little cold injury, young trees and forest frost several years after the forest Frost damage, the lowest temperature resistance to cold -5.3 ℃.
