随着经济不断发展,人们的出行日益频繁,人们对“行”的设计提出了新要求。因此,设计者有必要对导向标识系统设计有新的认识和理解,不仅要保证人们出行时对基本功能信息的获取,也要对如何获取信息、以何种方式获取信息以及获取信息之后带给人们何种体验等方面进行综合考量。作者通过对设计者、用户、文化环境等的深入考察,重新认识和定义导向标识系统的设计内容,指出在导向标识系统建立之初,设计者就应对其基本功能等方面进行考量。
