1999年12月1日,由教育部、中国科学院、北京市委和中国残联共同主办的杨佳事迹报告会在北京医科大学礼堂举行。主办单位的有关领导和首都高校的1000多名大学生到场听取了杨佳同志的报告。杨佳现为中国科学院研究生院外语部副教授、中科院青联常委、中国盲协副主席、世界盲人联盟文化委员会委员、亚太地区妇女委员。1963年出生于湖南长沙,15岁考入郑州大学英语系,21岁成为中国科学院“应用语言学”专业研究生,24岁成为中国科学院英语培训中心最年轻的讲师,29岁双目失明,一年后被聘为副教授。
On December 1, 1999, a report on the performance of Yang Jia, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Municipal Party Committee and CDPF, was held in the auditorium of Beijing Medical University. The relevant leaders of the organizers and more than 1,000 university students from universities and colleges attended the meeting and listened to Comrade Yang Jia’s report. Yang Jia is currently an associate professor of Chinese at the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences, a standing member of the Youth League of Chinese Academy of Sciences, a vice chairman of the China Blind Association, a member of the World Blind Union Culture Committee and a member of the Asia Pacific region. 1963 was born in Changsha, Hunan, 15-year-old admitted to the Department of English, Zhengzhou University, 21-year-old Chinese Academy of Sciences Applied Linguistics professional graduate student, 24-year-old Chinese Academy of Sciences English Training Center youngest lecturer, One year later hired as associate professor.
