用普通麻花钻加工深孔(L/D>5)时,随着钻削深度的加深,切屑排出逐渐困难,切削阻力亦增大。尤其在孔即将钻通时,因切屑堵塞,钻头极易损坏,因此,如何顺利排屑是深孔加工的一大难题。为此,我厂设计制造了加工深孔用蜗杆形长麻花钻,它无需间歇进给而一次加工孔深与孔径之比达15倍的深孔。和普通麻花钻相比,具有不易磨损和折断以及使用寿命长
