The investigation of the expressions of metal ions in the titles and the texts of the articles in some journals related to water environment chemistry showed that the expression patterns of metal ions are diverse. For example, the copper ions mainly contain “copper” (or Cu2 + Cu2 + Cu2 + Cu2 + Cu2 + Cu2 + Cu2 + Cu2 + Cu2 + ") And other expressions, and more than 76% with Cu ~ (2+) said. Since most metal ions exist in various forms in the aquatic environment, in addition to studying various forms of metal ions, the metal ions studied in aqueous environmental chemistry generally refer to all forms of the metal ions in a valence state , The general specification shall be expressed in terms of valence (in Roman numerals) in the brackets to the right of the notation of the metal element, such as Cu (II) (representing all forms of copper ion in the divalent state). This makes it possible to distinguish scientifically all metal ions of a valence state from metal ions in a free form and is also easy to enter and to retrieve online.
