For a long time scientists think many Native Americans are descendants of early Chinese sailors who crossed the Pacific. This is supported by the biochemists’ analysis of Native American DNA (DNA). According to the 21st Century Daily Telegraph reported that Professor Douglas Wallace of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and his colleagues recently told a meeting of the American Anthropological Association that currently living American Indians Some of the DNA is identical to that of indigenous peoples in Asia, the Polynesian and Melanesian islands. Professor Wallace and colleagues came to this conclusion by studying mitochondrial DNA. This mitochondrial DNA contains 37 genes, these genes are always inherited from the mother to their children, so tracking blood is not wrong. Dr. Walter Shiosoul, a colleague of Wallace, said it now appears that there were two waves of prehistoric migration of immigrants from Asia to the Americas. The first occurred in 20,000 to 40,000 years
