楔子 1994年8月,经国务院批准,台州撤地建市,路桥设区。1995年,全区实现国内生产总值43.2亿元,比上年增长64.5%,人均国内生产总值由建区时的6950元提高到10903元,居台州市前茅。工业总产值136.4亿元,比建区初期增长85%;农业产值4.6亿元,增长22%;财政收入2.35亿元,增长29%,增幅为台州第一。全社会出口交货值5.04亿元,增33.80%,集贸市场成交额183.3亿元,增98%,名列全国前茅。交通、通讯、供电、供水等基础设施有了较大改善,创文明城市、卫生城市和双拥模范城市的工作取得很大的进展。1995年,路桥区通过验收、成为全省首批命名的小康县(市、区)之一。尽管只有短短的两年多时间,但可以这么说,今天的路桥已是一部可以切切实实拿得出去告诉外界的虽还需要不断修改,却是充满了希望的作品。于是,我们推荐给大家。
