研究了N-(N,N-二甲基)-乙胺-1,8-萘硫酰亚胺和N-(N,N-二甲基)-乙胺-1,8-萘酰亚胺对小牛胸腺DNA的嵌入结合反应,并求取了嵌入常数。它们可以把质粒pUC19的超螺旋DNA(FormI)剪切为开环DNA(FormI),在紫外光作用下,这种能力会得到不同程度的提高。随着光照时间的增加或化合物浓度的提高,剪切作用更加显著。经初步研究,证实其对质粒DNA进行剪切作用的机制可能是由化合物本身的氧化作用导致DNA损伤。
