蔡会文,1908年出生于湖南攸县。1926年加入中国共产党,曾参加秋收起义。1930年8月任红一军团红三军政委,参加中央革命根据地前三次反“围剿”作战。1932年1月后任江西军区政治部主任、湘赣军区总指挥兼政委、红八军政委。1934年任赣南军区司令员。中央红军主力长征后,突围转战湘粤赣边,任湘粤赣边游击支队司令员兼政委。1936年春在桂东作战英勇牺牲,谱写了一曲惊天地泣鬼神的烈士壮歌。 Cai Huicheng, born in 1908 in Hunan Youxian.
