7月12日晚,辽宁交响乐团在《阿莱城的姑娘》组曲中亮相辽宁抚顺雷锋大剧院,这也是他们在2014年完成的最后一场公益演出。交响乐是衡量一个国家、一个城市现代文明程度的指标之一。近年来随着生活水平的提高,人们对文化生活的需求不断增加,交响乐在中国有了一定的发展,但交响音乐会上座率仍然很低。为拉近交响乐与大众的情感,让其走进普通人的生活,辽宁交响乐团每年会完成约150场公益演出。辽宁交响乐团建于1979年,其前身为东北人民艺术剧院管弦乐
