1950年春夏华北地区爆发“割蛋”谣言,一贯道是这场谣言风波的造谣源头,在传播“割蛋”谣言上起了推波助澜之力。一些道首、道徒在“割蛋”谣言中趁机兴风作浪,装妖作怪、施放硫磺毒弹,成为谣言肆虐的最大帮凶。党和政府将矛头直指一贯道,严惩造谣者,平息了这场谣言风波。
The rumors of “cut eggs” broke out in North China in the spring and summer of 1950, and the consistent rumors originated from the spread of the rumor. It played a role in spreading rumors of “cutting eggs.” Some of the chieftains and Taoists took the opportunity to make trouble in their “rumors of egg-cutting” and demonized them and released sulfur poison bullets, making them the biggest accomplice to raging. The party and the government have directed their spearheads consistently, severely punishing those who rumored, and quelled the rumors.
