冰心那些向泰戈尔致敬的文章以及写出的小诗,都远比郑振铎对这位哲人的理解,更为深刻也更显神秘。泰戈尔的“孩子”典型是爱的化身,是对冰心的“母亲”“大海”和“自然”的补充。《新约》中四部福音书对爱的展示,《旧约》中的部分情节及泰戈尔的爱的福音书,共同构成了冰心的“宇宙的爱”和“爱的宇宙”。爱的哲学显现在带宗教色彩的诗、小说、散文中,对她的作品有着正面和负面的效果。整体上看,冰心受限于浓厚的宗教情感所导致的不足,但由这种纯粹的情感所激发的作品仍值得称道。在冰心对精神状态的描述中,不仅强调了爱,也包括一些由寂寞、孤寂、烦闷、悲哀等等同义词所传达出的与之对立的情绪。在这方面冰心是“五四”一代人的典型代表。冰心智识的发展本身就是“五四”之后的时代最有趣的故事。令人遗憾的是冰心囿于时代局限,终于无法超越两种张力:一方面是本土传统和外来冲击间的张力;另一方面则是东西方最重要的文明智慧源泉与中国社会—政治环境之间的张力。1
Bing Xin tribute to Tagore articles and poems are written, far more than Zheng Zhenduo understanding of the philosopher, more profound and more mysterious. The philosophy of love manifests itself in religious poems, novels and essays that have both positive and negative effects on her work. Bing Xin is a typical representative of the May Fourth generation in this area. The development of Bing Xin’s knowledge is itself the most interesting story of the post-May 4th period.
