线弹性断裂力学是以线弹性裂纹体为对象,实际上金属材料在断裂时总残存有一定的塑性变形,线弹性断裂力学因此在应用上限于某种范围。超过此范围则需应用非线性断裂力学,即应根据其加载后在裂纹尖端附近产生的塑性区大小分别予以考虑。一般对塑性区的范围和裂纹尺寸及其它外形尺寸相比很小时,塑性区外部被广大弹性区所包围的情况,叫小范围屈服或微区屈服;否则称为大范围屈服或全面屈服。
Linear elastic fracture mechanics is a linear elastic crack object, in fact, the total residual fracture of the metal material has a certain plastic deformation, linear elastic fracture mechanics and therefore limited to a range of applications.
