书法作为我们东方的艺术,它是一门从具象出发,而兼及想象和抽象的综合性视觉艺木。它给予人们的美感不仅是惊世骇俗的崇高,也不是叹为观止的和谐、更不是忘乎所以的自由,而是集崇高、和谐、自由于一体的温柔敦厚、安定中和,淡泊隽永。王羲之就是把这门艺术推向顶峰的巨匠和祖师。他的家谱不但对研究书法艺术起源与发展有巨大价值,而且是研究当时中国政治,经济、文化和社会发展的极其珍贵的资料。
Calligraphy, as the art of our East, is a comprehensive visual art that embodies imagination and abstraction. The aesthetic feeling it gives to people is not only the sublime of shock and horror, nor is it the breathtaking harmony, not forgetting the freedom, but the gentle, honest, harmonious and indifferent of sublimity, harmony and freedom. Wang Xizhi is the master and founder of this art to the pinnacle. His genealogy not only has great value for studying the origin and development of calligraphy art, but also is extremely valuable for studying the political, economic, cultural and social development of China at that time.
