香港经过几十年的发展,现已成为世界名港,都市繁华,高楼林立。但香港地区的民居,却始终保持着中国传统民居的本色。香港地区(包括新界、云朗等地)民居以及庙宇、祠堂、书院、会馆等等,大多为清代建造,带有中华民族的传统风格。绝大多数香港的民居大宅都体现出传统礼治的制度,主要表现为以中轴线为主,左右建筑对称,房屋体量主次分明,体现出长幼有序的思想。每一所大宅均为封闭式,而院子内部
