To correctly understand the formation of the modern nation, we must place it for a long period of historical inspection. The former colonial Yorumbalan was a pluralistic society with numerous groups and numerous nationalities that had not yet achieved a unity as a whole; however, these groups and nations were established through the clever use of the myth of Odoudoussa and the marriage link The interactive network in the form of blood, kinship, trade, war and cultural exchange has given it an integrated centripetal force that has provided the historical basis and objective conditions for the construction of the Yoruba nation in the modern era. However, in this process, history The centrifugal element of the nation has been deliberately ignored. From a theoretical point of view, only by integrating “original theory” and “construction theory” into the same analytical framework, can we truly grasp the inherent context of national construction.
