The author criticizes the subjective tendency of the idealism of the concept of press freedom and points out the harm to the society from the concept of freedom of “natural and human rights”. At the same time, it analyzes the progressiveness and relativity of the concept of freedom of the press on news. It affirms that the freedom of the press is the overall freedom of the will of the class and is restricted by the power of the media and the social effect. There is no absolute freedom of the press in the world. The author puts forward the concept of freedom of the press on the principle of the unity of the subject and the object, advocates the sense of social responsibility through legal intermediaries and journalists, upholds proper freedom of the press and prevents abuse of freedom of the press
