《g小调第40交响曲》是莫扎特最高有激情和戏剧性的交响曲,虽然该作品运用的是古典的曲式和技术,但是它的感情强度几乎是浪漫主义的。令人难以置信的是,莫扎特在短短的6星期内就完成了g小调和另外两部著名的交响曲——bE大调No.39和C大调No.11(朱庇特)。它们是作曲家最后三部交响曲。
The Symphony No. 40 in g minor is the highest passion and dramatic symphony of Mozart. Although the works use classical music and techniques, its emotional intensity is almost romantic. Unbelievably, Mozart completed g minor and two other famous symphonies in just six weeks - bE major No. 39 and C major No. 11 (Jupiter). They are the composer’s last three symphonies.
