八十年代末九十年代初,日、美及西方国家,先后推出称为Computed Radiography(简称CR)的具有计算机图像处理功能的新型数字X光影像仪。它一出现,立即在世界各地,特别是在医疗界,掀起了一股“CR”热,这是因为其清晰的X光图像可反复使用上千次的X光影像权,灵活方便的计算机图像处理是老式X光机不能比拟的,因而备受人们的青睐。不仅如此,其相当可观的经济效益,更是令人向往。日本的CR仪,一台套售价高达80~100万美元,由此可见一斑。
