清前期,清廷以官修的方式,先后纂成各种名目的经部书籍十余种,或译成满文,或刊刻颁发。至乾隆末年,伴随《四库全书》编纂而撰成的官修大型目录著作《四库全书总目》,又以“钦定”的姿态,对清初以来的官修各部经解以及由此而构建的官方经学体系作了全面的评判和总结。在尊汉抑宋的同时,《总目》反复强调了“消融门户之见而各取所长”的持平态度和海纳百川的包容精神。清初以来形成的官方经学体系在一定程度上表现出折衷诸家、归于一是的倾向。
