机电工程学院,始建于1979年。现有机械设计制造及其自动化、材料成型与控制工程、测控技术与仪器、工业工程、物流管理、机械电子工程、热能与动力工程等七个本科专业。“机械设计制造及其自动化”和“材料成型与控制工程”为江西省第一批本科特色/品牌专业,机械制造及其自动化为国家“卓越工程师”培养专业,并与南昌海立电器公司联合建设我校唯一的国家级“大学生校外实践教育基地”“材料成型与控制工程”与“测控技术与仪器”为江西省专业综合改革试点专业。学院所有本科专业在江西省均按一本批次招生。“机械工程”为江西省高校“十二五”重点学科。
