Objective: To investigate the effect of snoring on behavior problems of children and provide a scientific basis for effective mental health education and protection of children’s physical and mental health. Methods: Children aged 6-12 years (snoring group) and 28 normal children were selected as the control group from February 2010 to February 2011 in our department. The Achenbach Child Behavior Inventory was completed by both groups of parents. Results: The scores of social withdrawal, body complaint, schizoid, attack and hyperactivity in children with snoring group were significantly different from those in control group (P <0.05). Two groups of children’s activity ability, social skills and learning ability score no significant difference. Conclusion: Snoring children have some behavioral problems than normal children. Psychological and behavioral interventions for children with snoring can reduce children’s anxiety and depression, improve social adaptability, promote growth and development, and improve the overall treatment effect, which will be of great significance to reduce the occurrence of children’s behavior problems and correct the problems of children’s behavior.
