Describes a stable and reliable 1.06μm pulsed laser quadruple frequency multiplier system, which is built by using the new efficient double frequency crystal KTP and quadruple frequency crystal LAP in our country. Through computer simulation, the optimal operating parameters are determined so that Harmonic conversion efficiency of the device increased, in addition to analysis of the mismatch angle Δθ, optical power density and other factors on the frequency doubling efficiency. The ultra-short UV pulse generated by this system is of great significance to the dynamic parameters of X-ray streak camera and the research of streak camera with time-scale.
