(新華社重慶一日電)西南軍政委員會第一次全體委員會議上,劉伯承主席作了‘西南區的工作任務’的報告。全文如下: 今年六月六日,毛澤東主席在中共三中全會的報告及其所提出的八項任務,人民政協全國委員會第二次會議所通過的各項報告和決議,完全符合於西南的情况。這些報告及决議所示的各項任務,就是西南全區的任務,西南各級政府和全體人民應爲求其澈底實現而努力。半下來,西南各方面工作都是有成績的,現在的基本情况是: 西藏還待解放。其他地區在解放後會經猖獗一時的土匪特務活動,受到致命打擊。大部地區業已淨化,但在邊沿山地,仍然活躍,需要繼續努力加以肅清。物價雖已穩定,但財政經濟情况尚未獲得基本好轉。開支暂時不能減少,而公粮征收僅達一九四九年度的百分之六十,稅收僅達全年計劃百分之二一。五,公債僅達百分之七四,故赤字浩大,目前仍賴中央補助,此種情况如不在收入方面加緊努力,很難繼續下去。由於我們在經濟工作方面的努力
