提出一种新型的白光准直器, 它由梯度折射率光纤及光阑组成的微阵列构成。在研究其准直原理及理论计算基础上, 讨论了材料和结构参数对准直特性的影响。实验结果表明, 选择合适的参数, 可获得发散角小于±10°的近准直光, 该种准直器可满足扩展液晶显示器(LCD)视角对准直背光源的需求。
A new type of white light collimator is proposed, which consists of a microarray composed of gradient index optical fiber and aperture. Based on the research of its collimation principle and theoretical calculation, the influence of material and structure parameters on collimation characteristics is discussed. The experimental results show that the near-collimated light with the divergence angle less than ± 10 ° can be obtained by choosing proper parameters, which can meet the need of extending the LCD viewing angle to align the backlight.
