对４批１８８１尾不同规格的虹鳟进行由淡水过渡到海水的驯养试验。过渡时间５～７天，最小体长３．５ｃｍ，过渡成活率９９．５％。在海水中饲养６４天，增重率为８０％。利用对虾育苗池进行的自然水温海水越冬试验，存活率８７％。１９８５年底专家鉴定认为，本研究成果处于国内同类研究领先水平。
Four batches of 1881 rainbow trout of different sizes were subjected to domesticated transition from freshwater to seawater. The transition time is 5-7 days, the minimum body length is 3.5cm, and the transitional survival rate is 99.5%. In seawater for 64 days, weight gain rate of 80%. The use of shrimp nursery ponds for natural water temperature overwintering test, the survival rate of 87%. By the end of 1985 experts believe that the results of this research is at the leading level of similar research in China.
