文学意图是一个介于作者、作品和读者之间的关系性存在。在作者方面，它是影响作品主旨的动机或意向；在本文中，它是一系列带有作者个性色彩的“本文特点”；在读者那里，它则是作者留存的、有待读者作出探究的意义踪迹。意图属于作者文学价值观念的一部分，在文学意象的设置和文学意义的生成中起着重要的定向作用。在文学理解和解释中，对意图的勘察、辨析与推测仍然是解读文学作品的重要手段和途径。本文还反思了意图决定论的弊端，认为意图无论是在文学创作中的表现还是在文学解释中的作用都很复杂，需要进行具体分析。 Literary intention is a relational existence between author, work and reader. In the author’s terms, it is motivation or intention to affect the main thrust of the work; in this paper, it is a series of “features of this article” with the author’s individuality; in the reader, it is the author’s meaning reserved for readers to explore trace. Intentions belong to the part of the author’s literary values, and play an important role in the setting of literary images and the generation of literary meanings. In the literary understanding and interpretation, the prospecting, discrimination and speculation of intention are still the important means and ways to interpret literary works. This article also reflects on the shortcomings of intent determinism and holds that the intension, both in literary creation and in literary interpretation, is complex and requires specific analysis.
