数学建模活动是一项创造性的思维活动,其目的是使学生体会数学的应用价值,培养学生的数学应用意识,增进学生对数学的理解。初中数学课标中对数学建模提出以下要求:从学生已有的经验出发,让学生亲身经历将实际问题抽象成数学模型并进行解析与应用的过程,使学生在思维能力、情感态度与价值观等方面得到更大的进步和发展。培养学生的数学建模思想,可提高学生分析问题、解决实际问题的能力。
