伊通河位于吉林省南部,源于伊通县板石乡磨石山北麓。北流经长春、农安、德惠与饮马河汇合后入第二松花江。伊通河上游地区多山峦丘陵,东南部属哈达岭余脉,西北部为大里山山脉,两山间形成狭长盆地。这一带峰峦环绕,沟溪纵横。沿河两岸土地肥沃,宜于农耕,是古人类理想的栖息之地。长期以来,考古调查与发掘工作多集中于伊通河中下游地区,对上游地区的文化面貌缺乏一定的了解。由于近年在这一地区开展了大规模的文物普查,发现古遗址130多
Yitong River is located in the southern part of Jilin Province, originating from the northern foot of Mount Stone, Slate Township, Yitong County. North flows through Changchun, Nong’an, Dehui and Yinmahe convergence into the second Songhua River. There are many hills in the upper reaches of the Yitong River, the northern reaches of the Hadar Ridge in the southeast, and the Dalishan Mountains in the northwest, forming a long and narrow basin between the two mountains.
