伊通河位于吉林省南部,源于伊通县板石乡磨石山北麓。北流经长春、农安、德惠与饮马河汇合后入第二松花江。伊通河上游地区多山峦丘陵,东南部属哈达岭余脉,西北部为大里山山脉,两山间形成狭长盆地。这一带峰峦环绕,沟溪纵横。沿河两岸土地肥沃,宜于农耕,是古人类理想的栖息之地。长期以来,考古调查与发掘工作多集中于伊通河中下游地区,对上游地区的文化面貌缺乏一定的了解。由于近年在这一地区开展了大规模的文物普查,发现古遗址130多 Yitong River is located in the southern part of Jilin Province, originating from the northern foot of Mount Stone, Slate Township, Yitong County. For a long time, archaeological surveys and excavations are mostly concentrated in the middle and lower reaches of the Yitong River, lacking a certain understanding of the cultural landscape of the upper reaches.
