奈保尔本人认为写作距离是一个作家创作作品时必须要考虑到的因素。他认为对写作对象保持越远的距离越好。本文以奈保尔的两本书《幽暗国度:记忆与现实交错的印度之旅》与《作家看人》为分析文本,从奈保尔写作这两本书所采取的距离,来分析他独特的后殖民写作视角。
Naipaul himself thinks writing distance is a factor that a writer must consider when creating his work. He believes that the farther the distance to the object of writing, the better. This article takes Naipaul’s two books, “Dark Country: India’s Journey into Memory and Reality,” and “Writers and Writers” as analytical texts, and analyzes the distance between Naipaul’s two books, Colonial writing perspective.
