The occurrence and damage of Carposinasasaki Matsumura in Prunusarmeniaca, an almond tree in the Qinling Mountains of Shaanxi Province, were studied by field-induced entrapment of moths, investigation of fruitworms and observation of emergence of overwintering larvae and emergence of adults under natural temperature conditions. The results showed that the peach moths in the apricot garden occurred a generation a year, with mature larvae in the soil cocoon formation of winter diapause. Overwintering larvae began unearthed in mid-April, from late April to late April for the unearthed period; adults in early May saw it in mid-May to reach plumage; mature larvae began to off before June 10, In mid-June off the peak fruit. Larvae mature off fruit, the cocoon in the soil into the diapause late summer, wintering.
