3-甲基吡啶(3-Methylpyridine),又名β-甲基吡啶或β-皮考啉。分子式为C6H7N,相对分子质量93.12,是一种无色、有不愉快气味的液体。沸点143.5℃,熔点-17.7℃,闪点40℃,引燃温度500℃,相对密度(水=1)0.96,溶于水、醇、醚等多数有机溶剂。3-甲基吡啶易燃,遇明火、高热或与氧化剂接触,有引起爆炸的危险。人接触到3-甲基吡啶,会出现疲乏、全身无力、嗜睡等,重者出现神经系统症状,如步态不稳、短暂意识丧失等。应密闭储存于阴
