Basically, Tibetan art comes from two major art trends: Indian art and Central Plains art. Tibetan art has accepted the qualities of the two and has been operating in a dismal and flexible manner. Although the origin of Tibetan art is clearly visible, it has a unique artistic style. Tibetan art, like Nepali art, preserves and develops the tradition of Kashmir art and Indian art in the Pale-Sener School of Bangla in Bangladesh, while the artistic tradition of Parra-Celestial has been sorely silenced and disappearing in its birthplace. Religious and historical background only led to the revelation of Tibetan art. Tibetan art serves religious beliefs and becomes a means of linking people with gods. Therefore, to understand Tibetan art, we must make a brief introduction to Tibetan religion.
