导言:二十国集团领导人峰会(G20)将于2016年9月在杭州举办,2016年二十国集团妇女会议(W20)是峰会六场主要配套活动的首场。作为国际经济合作主要论坛,G20肩负引领全球经济强劲、可持续、平衡增长的使命,性别包容和性别平等是实现这一目标必不可少的要素。2015年5月,在G20成员共同推动下,W20作为G20配套活动正式成立,致力于推动性别包容的经济增长,推动G20各成员国履行承诺,加强妇女经济赋权。
Introduction: The G20 Summit (G20) will be held in Hangzhou in September 2016 and the W202020 Women’s Conference (W20) is the first of six major supporting events of the Summit. As a major forum for international economic cooperation, the G20 shoulders the mission of leading the global economy to strong, sustainable and balanced growth. Gender inclusion and gender equality are essential elements for this goal. In May 2015, with the joint efforts of the G20 members, the W20 was formally established as a supporting activity for the G20. It is committed to promoting gender-inclusive economic growth and promoting the fulfillment of commitments by G20 member countries to strengthen womens economic empowerment.
