最早生产的5吨载重汽车是CA—140型(第一汽车制造厂于1970年、1971年生产827辆),拟作为解放牌CA—10B过渡车型,因一些薄弱环节未能彻底解决,因而没有继续生产。杭州汽车厂于1973年开始试制钱塘江HZ—140型5吨载重汽车,1978年年产量达到527辆。生产设备较为先进的第二汽车制造厂实际上是在1977年才正式生产EQ—140型5吨载重汽车的,1978年的实际生产量为5050辆,这为我国5吨车的生产开创了广阔前景。为缓和当时汽车产量供不应求的国内情况,全国各地的一些厂家也曾先后研制或仿制了5吨车,但因条件限制,质量和产量大都不能令人满意。
The earliest production of 5-ton truck is CA-140 type (the first automobile factory in 1970, 871 in 1971 produced), to be used as a liberation card CA-10B transitional car, because of some weak links can not be completely solved, so there is no continue to produce. Hangzhou Automobile Factory began trial production of QTang HZ-140 5-ton truck in 1973, with an annual output of 527 vehicles in 1978. In fact, the second automobile factory with advanced production equipment actually started production of the EQ-140 5-ton truck in 1977. The actual production in 1978 was 5,050 units, which opened up a vast area for the production of 5-ton trucks in China prospect. In order to ease the domestic situation that the output of automobiles was in short supply at the time, some manufacturers all over the country also successively developed or imitated 5-tonne vehicles. However, most of the quality and output were unsatisfactory due to the limited conditions.
