“螺丝转弯”是南京一条小巷的名字,名字的字面表述与小巷曾有的曲曲弯弯的形态十分贴切。小巷不长,却是一眼望不到底,站在巷口,你就有曲径探幽的欲望。虽然小巷眼下的“动作”是改建成通衢,但其最原始的意韵已在南京人心中根深蒂固。特别是当我应杂志社之约写这篇文章时,面对纷繁的南京地名,真就有一种站在深不见底的巷口的感觉。一个地名对于一座城市来说,或许只是一个小小的窗口,但南京的每一个地名似乎都是一个可以探幽的“螺丝转弯”,走进去,你就找到了南京的历史、南京的文化。写此稿前,我去拜会了南京的一
“Turn of a screw” is the name of an alley in Nanjing. The name’s literal expression is quite appropriate to the curve of the alley once existing. Alley is not long, but it is a glimpse into the end, standing alley, you have the desire to explore the winding path. Although alley now “action” is rebuilt into a thoroughfare, but its most primitive meaning rhyme has been deeply rooted in the heart of Nanjing. Especially when I wrote this article by the magazine, in the face of numerous place names in Nanjing, there really was a feeling of standing in the bottomless alley. A place name may be just a small window to a city, but every place name in Nanjing seems to be an intriguing “turn of a screw”. When you walk in, you find the history of Nanjing and the culture of Nanjing. Before writing this manuscript, I went to visit one of Nanjing
