英籍华裔作家毛翔青虽然为西方评论界所热议,但是他作品中蕴含的儒家思想却未得到足够关注。本文在分析小说《酸甜》的基础上,借助儒家的正名思想,结合霍米·巴巴关于被殖民的他者的生存状态的观点,分析故事中人物的生存状态。本文提出,身处异国环境的故事人物需要通过正名行为厘清自己的名号和调整行为规范,从而开辟生存的第三空间。 Though Mao Xianqing, a Chinese-American writer, is a hot topic for western critics, his Confucianism in his works has not received enough attention. On the basis of analyzing the sour and sweet novels of the novel, this article analyzes the living conditions of the characters in the story based on the Confucian rectification of the name and the viewpoint of Homi Baba on the living condition of the other being colonized. This paper argues that storytellers living in exotic environments need to clarify their names and adjust their code of conduct through the act of naming their names, so as to open up the third space for survival.
