提起回族的商业经济,总会使人想起解放前在回族人民中流传的一些谚语:“回回两把刀,一把卖牛肉,一把卖切糕”;“回回三大行,羊肉、馒头、贩粜粮”;“拾街头、皮毛行、卖零食、宰牛羊、当经纪、闯五行”。这些谚语,正是对当时回族人民商业经济状况的生动缩写。极不稳定的商业经济,使广大回民长期处于极其贫困的状态之
Mentioning the Hui’s commercial economy always reminds us of some proverbs circulating among the Hui people before the liberation: “Two knives are returned, one is for selling beef and the other is for selling cakes.” “Three major lines of return, mutton, steamed bread, Selling grain ”;“ pick up the streets, fur line, sell snacks, slaughter cattle and sheep, when the broker, Chuang five elements. ” These proverbs are vivid abbreviations of the commercial and economic conditions of the Hui people at that time.
