[Methods] The sample selection model was used to analyze the simulated data and compared with the traditional linear regression model. [Results] For the missing data under specific conditions, the sample selection model is more reasonable than the traditional linear regression model, and can improve the efficiency of model parameter estimation. [Conclusion] The sample selection model has a wide range of application prospects in medical research.
