This article attempts to explore the possibility of a comparative study of the historical traditions of many origins from a global perspective. On the one hand, the authors stress that although it is impossible to ignore the huge differences between global histories, it is even more important to see the large number of comparable commonalities that they contain. Among them, from the author’s analysis of historical compilation, the social analysis and the text analysis, we can get a glimpse of the historical patterns combined in different ways. On the other hand, the ancient texts may provide some helpful revelations for the contemporary history of introspection. For example, the “principle of association” proposed by Boribia and the multi-level organizational past used by Sima Qian in “Historical Records” may lead us to discover the “history of interdisciplinarity” between different historical traditions and their interconnections, Interdependence of the development of reality.
