2013年3月8日,周恩来的侄孙女、广东电视台新闻中心副主任周晓瑾首次回淮安祭祖,并邀约笔者引领其祭拜祖坟。祭拜完之后,周晓瑾站在《周恩来平祖坟碑记》东侧,望着碑背面的周恩来手迹问笔者:“秦叔,爷爷(指周恩来)的这几句话是什么时候写的?写给谁的?他为什么要写……”原来,平祖坟碑的背面刻着的是周恩来1958年6月29日写给当时淮安县副县长王汝祥同志信的结尾部分,内容是要求淮安方面可以把他家的祖坟平掉而
