In the 1990s, cultural studies began to take on more and more intense political orientation and became even more concerned about politically, nationally, ethnicly, imperialist and other politically very problematic issues. Such changes in focus are also projected into translation studies. Translation studies begin to pay close attention to the comparison of the forces of the original culture and the target language culture, especially the conflicts and contests between the strong culture and the weak culture in the political and ideological sense. Research on the relationship of power implicit in culture gradually increases in translation studies, in which postcolonial criticism as a model of political culture becomes the most representative channel of power transfer in translation studies, which further expands the culture Important space for building interdisciplinary discourse between research and translation studies.
