位于新疆天山北坡河流多发源于高山古冰川区,到中山地带切入基岩,水流湍急,多石滩跌水,出山口以下河道坡度变缓,形成冲积扇,目前河水在冲积扇中迂回摆动,下切为深槽,两岸为多级台地地形,个别地段台地多达13级,相对高度在200~400米,冲沟十分发育,植被条件极差,泥石流灾害频繁发生。本文就奎屯河流域近十多年来在治理泥石流灾害方面所采取的工程性措施做简要介绍。
