我校是川北山区一所农村初级中学.现有8个班,学生424人,教师17人。1958年以来,我们在党的领导下,在社会主义建设总路线的光辉照耀下,配合着农业生产大跃进和人民公社化运动,贯彻执行了党的教育方针,学校教育紧密结合生产,支援了农业生产和农业技术改造,同时全面提高了教育质量。在大跃进的1958年,地委号召全党全民进行农由基本建设,大力兴修水利,改良土壤。我们积极响应了这一伟大号召。结合校内建立生产基地,在荒石骨子坡上,开垦出来45苗地的农场,而且将坡土改为平地,劣土改为良田,全部实现了园田化。出现了亩产小麦660斤,油菜510斤的高产纪录,比原来产量提高5—10倍,为改良山区面貌树立了榜样。群众参观后写诗称赞道:
