In the ruins of the Oracle, the word “() ” is seen in the inscriptions of the ancient Qiu Zi as the insect shape with the tentacles of the first and the wings of the back protruding. Autumn as insects, this refers to locusts; as a seasonal word, refers to the autumn. Oracle has many records of locust plagues. The Shang Dynasty carried out some prevention and control activities on locust plagues, or used sacrifices to pray for gods to eliminate or eliminate plagues, or used fire to exterminate and cull locusts, or to use tools to catch locusts.
