辛亥前,革命志士立足于近代政治诉求,赋予传统圣贤人格以近代义。他们理性继承传统圣贤人格的合理文化价值,积极清算其封建性弊端,理论重构近代理想人格的时代意涵。其具体内涵关涉近代价值理念、道德规范、知识结构和实际能力等方面,实际对象由上层精英渐及下层民众。它们密切结合,彼此互动,客观上促进了传统圣贤人格的近代嬗变。
Before 1911, revolutionary intellectuals based on modern political demands, giving the traditional sage personality to modern righteousness. They rationally inherit the reasonable cultural value of the traditional saints’ personalities, actively liquidate their feudal drawbacks and the meaning of the times when the theory reconstructs the modern ideal personality. Its specific connotation relates to modern values, moral norms, knowledge structure and practical ability and other aspects, the actual object from the upper elite to the lower people. In close connection with each other, they interact with each other and objectively promote the modern evolution of the traditional saint personality.
